Discovering Events
Browse all events at /events. Events differ from tournaments — they can include LAN parties, gaming meetups, watch parties, game launch celebrations, charity streams, and developer Q&As.
Filter events by:
- Type — Online, In-person, Hybrid
- Game or topic
- Date range
- Location / region (for in-person events)
- Free vs paid entry
Attending an Event
- View details: Click an event to see the full description, schedule, organiser, attendee count, and location/stream link.
- RSVP: Click RSVP / Register to mark your attendance. For free events this is instant. For paid events you'll go through checkout.
- Add to calendar: After RSVP'ing, click Add to Calendar to export to Google Calendar, Apple Calendar, or Outlook.
- Get notified: You'll receive reminders 24 hours and 1 hour before the event (configurable in your notification settings).
- Join the event: On the day, return to the event page and click Join Event to access the stream link, venue instructions, or Discord server for the event.
Creating an Event
Any user can create an event. Go to Events and click Create Event.
- Enter the event name, description, and banner image.
- Set the event type: online, in-person, or hybrid.
- For in-person events: enter the venue address.
- For online events: add the stream or meeting link (you can update this later).
- Set the date, start time, and end time. Time zones are shown in attendees' local time.
- Set the maximum attendee count (or leave unlimited).
- Choose free or paid entry. For paid events, set the ticket price.
- Click Publish Event.
After publishing, share your event link on your profile, in a Space, or on social media to attract attendees.
Managing Your Event
As the organiser, you can:
- View the attendee list and contact attendees via announcement messages
- Update event details (location, stream link, description) — attendees are notified of changes
- Cancel the event — all attendees are notified and paid-ticket holders receive refunds
- Post updates and announcements on the event page in real time
- Mark the event as complete and share a recap post, photos, or highlight clip
