Types of Notifications
Nitrade sends notifications across several categories. You can manage each category independently:

| Marketplace | Item sold, order shipped, order received, dispute opened, new message from buyer/seller |
| Social | Friend request, friend accepted, mention in a post or comment, new follower |
| Spaces | New post in a space you follow, announcement from space owner, join request approved |
| Coaching | Session confirmed, session reminder (1 hour before), session review ready, new message from coach |
| Payments | Deposit confirmed, withdrawal processed, prize credited, subscription renewal upcoming |
| Account | New device sign-in, password changed, 2FA enabled/disabled, KYC status update |
| System | Platform announcements, new feature releases, scheduled maintenance |
Notification Channels
Nitrade delivers notifications through three channels. Each category can be toggled independently per channel:
- In-app notifications — Appear as the bell badge in the top navigation. Access your full notification history at /notifications.
- Email notifications — Sent to your registered email address. Can be turned off per category or all at once.
- Push notifications — Browser push alerts (requires permission in your browser). Ideal for real-time match alerts. To enable: click Allow when your browser requests notification permission, or go to your browser's site settings for nitrade.com.
Managing Notification Preferences
Go to Profile → Preferences → Notifications to control exactly what you receive:
- Toggle entire categories on or off
- Select which channels (in-app, email, push) receive which categories
- Set a Do Not Disturb schedule — during these hours, push and email notifications are silenced but still recorded in-app
- Choose Email digest frequency — get a daily or weekly summary instead of individual emails
Notification Centre
The full notification feed at /notifications lets you:
- View all notifications in chronological order
- Filter by category (tournament, marketplace, social, etc.)
- Mark individual notifications as read
- Mark all as read in one click
- Delete old notifications
- Click any notification to jump directly to the relevant page
