Leaderboards & Ladders

Track your ranking, challenge rivals, and climb to the top.

Global Leaderboard

The Global Leaderboard ranks all Nitrade players across all games based on their competitive performance. Rankings are updated daily.

Your global rank is calculated from:

  • Tournament placements and prize money earned
  • Win/loss ratio across all competitions
  • Activity consistency (recent matches weighted higher)
  • Verified in-game rank from connected gaming accounts

Filter the leaderboard by Game, Platform, Region, or Time Period (all time, this month, this week) to find your standing within a specific context.

💡

Connect your gaming accounts (PSN, Steam, Xbox, Riot, Battle.net) in Profile → Settings → Linked Accounts to have your in-game stats verified and contribute to your ranking.

Tournament Leaderboards

Every tournament with a round-robin or Swiss format has its own internal leaderboard. Visit a tournament's page and click the Standings tab to see:

  • Current rank within the tournament
  • Wins, losses, and draws
  • Points (if applicable)
  • Score differential (used as a tiebreaker)

After the tournament ends, final standings are archived and visible permanently on the tournament results page.

Ladder System

Ladders are persistent, ongoing rankings for a specific game or game mode. Unlike tournaments with a fixed start and end, ladders run continuously — you can challenge any player ranked near you at any time.

Joining a Ladder

  1. Go to /ladders and browse available ladders by game.
  2. Click Join Ladder on any ladder. You'll be placed at the bottom of the rankings initially.
  3. Accept the ladder rules before joining.

Challenging Players

  1. You can only challenge players ranked within a set range above you (usually ±5 positions depending on the ladder rules).
  2. Click Challenge on a player's ladder entry. They have 24–48 hours (as set by the ladder rules) to accept or decline.
  3. If they accept, coordinate match details via the in-platform chat. Play the match and both players report the result.
  4. The winner takes the higher position; the loser drops accordingly (ELO-based movement).
  5. If the challenge is declined or expires, no ranking change occurs.

Creating a Ladder

  1. Go to /ladders/create.
  2. Set the game, name, description, maximum participants, challenge window, and activity requirements (e.g. minimum one match per week).
  3. Publish the ladder and invite players to join.
💡

Ladders with an activity requirement will automatically drop inactive players after the inactivity period. Stay active to maintain your position.

ELO & Ranking Points

Nitrade uses a modified ELO rating system to determine ranking movement on ladders:

  • Beating a higher-ranked player gives you more points than beating a lower-ranked player
  • Losing to a much lower-ranked player causes a larger point drop
  • Your initial ELO is based on your connected game account's rank (if verified) or starts at 1000

Tournament leaderboards use a flat points system rather than ELO — points are awarded per round won, with bonuses for reaching semifinals and finals.
