Your Public Profile
Your public profile is visible to other Nitrade users (depending on your privacy settings). It shows:
- Username, avatar, banner image, and bio
- Country and region
- Games you play and your linked in-game handles
- Tournament history and results
- Team memberships
- Recent posts and activity
- Achievements and badges
- Overall win rate and prize money earned

A complete, detailed profile increases your chances of being invited to private tournaments and found by potential teammates.
Editing Your Profile
Go to Profile → Edit Profile to update:
- Avatar: Upload a square image (JPG/PNG, max 5MB). Recommended 400×400 px.
- Banner: Upload a wide banner for your profile header. Recommended 1200×300 px.
- Display name: The name shown on your profile (distinct from your unique username).
- Bio: Up to 500 characters describing yourself as a player.
- Country & region: Used for regional leaderboards and tournament matchmaking.
- Social links: Add links to your Twitch, YouTube, Twitter/X, or other gaming profiles.
Changes are saved immediately when you click Save Changes.
Linked Gaming Accounts
Navigate to Profile → Settings → Linked Accounts to connect your gaming accounts. Supported platforms:
Steam
PlayStation Network (PSN)
Xbox Live / Microsoft
Riot Games (LoL, Valorant)
Battle.net (Overwatch, CoD)
Epic Games
Twitch
Discord
Linked accounts enable:
- Automatic rank verification for eligible tournaments
- In-game stat tracking for leaderboards
- Finding friends who are also on Nitrade
- Faster sign-in with OAuth
Privacy Settings
Control who sees your profile and activity at Profile → Settings → Privacy:

Preferences
At Profile → Preferences you can configure:
- Theme: Light, Dark, or System default
- Language: Platform UI language
- Time zone: Used for displaying tournament and match schedules in your local time
- Currency: Display prices and prize pools in your preferred currency
- Email digest: Daily, weekly, or no summary emails
Friends
The friends system lets you follow other players and be notified of their activity:
- Find players by username via the search bar or through mutual tournaments/spaces
- Send a friend request — the other player must accept
- View your friends list at Profile → Friends
- See when friends are online and what they're playing
- Send direct messages to friends
- Remove a friend at any time from the friends list
Account Security
- Change password: Settings → Security → Change Password. Enter your current password and choose a new one.
- Two-factor authentication: Settings → Security → Enable 2FA. Scan the QR code with an authenticator app. Keep your recovery codes in a safe place.
- Active sessions: Settings → Security → Sessions. View all devices currently signed in to your account and revoke any you don't recognise.
- Delete account: Settings → Account → Delete Account. Account deletion is permanent. All your data, tournament history, and wallet balance are removed. Winnings must be withdrawn before deletion.
